DANTE’S FIRE - CHARACTER BLOG TOUR

“I want you as a man. Your body on top of mine, thrusting deep inside me until I become a part of you. Not as a friend, or a healer, or a damn shrink. Get it?”
Growing up in foster care taught me to be tough, in control, and take care of myself. But that night I was attacked, I became a different person. They say all things happen for a reason, and looking back, I can see this was the way I met Dante. The man who healed me, talked to me in the dark night after night, and made me believe in love.
Of course, I had no idea he was the same man that had become my friend over the past two years. We had a bond that was just as strong, but who knows how long it would’ve taken for us to take a chance on each other. As an up and coming executive going for partner, dating the mailroom guy is extreme.
Yes, even in today’s world society gives us limits. I guess it’s a good thing Dante and I like to break them.
Many readers are wondering how we are doing. They’ve written to see if we’re struggling, if we settled into routine, and how I deal with my lover’s disappearances. We may be eating dinner, sleeping in bed, walking in the park, and whoosh—he’s gone. Like the time traveler guy-who was pretty hot—but nothing compared to Dante. I mean, hello, have you seen him on the cover?
H-O-T.
Sorry, I digress. It’s not easy, but we didn’t expect easy. I think you’ll see more of our struggles in the next book. Am I jealous of all those other nameless, faceless women he heals in the night, like he once did me? No. Because I know he loves me and he needs to heal the others. But it’s hard to share the one you love every moment. I have my good days and bad days. The good always outweigh the bad.
Wait—did you think we rode off  into the sunset and had great sex and the birds flew and the music cued and everything came together?
No. But the sex is true. But when you love someone the way I love Dante, there’s no thought to failure. Whatever will happen, we’ll come out stronger.
I hope you read our love story. It’s not your usual, but we’re not the usual couple.
