In my opinion this installment of the Indebted Series is the most riveting, and not just because each debt being extracted is more horrifying than the last. It is the most gripping because Ms. Winters’ writing elevates with every book she publishes. How is this possible when her first books are brilliant?
Nila's and Jethro’s lives are entwined, as they have been, however, Jethro is cured. Thanks to his father, Cut, he is once again as cold as ice-- impenetrable.

Nila is the kind of heroine that I enjoy. Often, my attention is first focused on my leading man, and it remains there, unless the heroine is particularly brave, expressive, sensual and/or interesting. Nila Weaver is all of these things, and I thoroughly enjoy her.
About Jethro, I’m thinking, what can I say? Really the question is what can’t I say, because this is a spoiler free review! He is a damaged man. He is on and off, hot and cold-- and the rest, you’ll find out on your own. With consideration to all the Hawks and Weavers, get ready for shocks and surprises. Ms. Winters has outdone herself! Third Debt ends on a cliffhanger, but I’m in it until the end, because this author’s stories are something I look forward to.
