The Saint (The Original Sinners: White Years #1)
Gutsy, green-eyed Eleanor never met a rule she didn't want to break. She's sick of her mother's zealotry and the confines of Catholic school, and declares she'll never go to church again. But her first glimpse of beautiful, magnetic Father Søren Stearns and his lust-worthy Italian motorcycle is an epiphany. Suddenly, daily Mass seems like a reward, and her punishment is the ache she feels when they're apart. He is intelligent and insightful and he seems to know her intimately at her very core. Eleanor is consumed—and even she knows that can't be right.
But when one desperate mistake nearly costs Eleanor everything, it is Søren who steps in to save her. She vows to repay him with complete obedience…and a whole world opens before her as he reveals to her his deepest secrets.
Danger can be managed—pain, welcomed. Everything is about to begin.
Teresa Review
I will read anything Tiffany Reisz writes. Her voice is extraordinary. If you have not already read The Original Sinners series, starting with The Siren, I urge you not to cheat yourself out of that experience. After that, we continue with The Original Sinners: White Years, beginning with The Saint. It is not necessary to read the first series, but it is truly amazing erotic fiction.
The Saint tells us Nora’s story from the beginning. If you think you must already know her story because you read the first four books, you are wrong! Reisz cleverly feeds us details that we never knew, while at the same time giving us a look at what is possibly to come.
The Saint is captivating, Reisz effortlessly moves the reader forward. You will be mesmerized and then it will be over! So, like I said, if you have not already, begin with The Siren and you will have much more pleasure and pain to look forward to. I binge read all four books in the first series! I am kind of crazy like that. Tiffany Reisz is one of my favorite authors. If you are ever in a “book slump,” read or reread one of her books or novellas and you should be good to go!
Now, I am patiently (not) waiting for The King. Some of you might think it is wrong for me to jump the gun and say that The King is going to be an equally impressive five star read. I, however, do not!
QUOTES
“If I'm going to give you forever," she said, raising her chin higher, "I want something in return.""I already offered to help you out of your mess. What else do you want?"Eleanor considered her demands. He sounded open to suggestion, which was good because she had a suggestion."Everything.""Everything?" he repeated. "As in. . .?""Every. Thing." She stared at him across the desk, and this time it was her turn not to blink. "I give you forever, the least you can give me is everything.”

“You stole five cars. Instead of going into prison or juvenile detention, you endured nothing more than volunteer work. Now that you are paying back your legal fees, which were not inconsiderable, perhaps you need to suffer more in your service. It's good for the soul."
"Suffering is good for the soul? You're sitting in your cute little office drinking your gross-ass tea that smells like bacon-"
"It's Lapsang souchong."
"It's disgusting. You're drinking disgusting tea and writing homilies in your room-temperature office while I"m dying in there. I don't see you suffering."
"I have suffered. My suffering has ended."
"Did you find Jesus?"
"No, I found you.”

“You're not a normal priest, are you?'
He gave her a smile that hit her like a slap to the face and a kiss on the mouth all at once.
'My God, I hope not.”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
|
Tiffany Reisz is the author of the internationally bestselling and award-winning Original Sinners series for Mira Books (Harlequin/Mills & Boon). Tiffany's books inhabit a sexy shadowy world where romance, erotica and literature meet and do immoral and possibly illegal things to each other. She describes her genre as "literary friction," a term she stole from her main character, who gets in trouble almost as often as the author herself.
She lives in Portland, Oregon. If she couldn't write, she would die.
