She hired him to take her virginity...but now she wants even more.
She assumes one time with Ander will be enough, but she never dreams how much pleasure he can make her feel. Once isn't nearly enough. Twice isn't enough either. Soon, she becomes one of his regular clients.
Lori knows that nothing would be as foolish as falling in love with her paid escort, but she's never been wise with her heart. And, despite his professionalism, he doesn't seem entirely immune either
Teresa's Review
Escorted was an excellent read. I enjoyed it so much that I really debated on my rating. The only reason that I did not give it five stars is because I wanted the writing to be a tiny bit more sophisticated. Let me tell you why you should read this book. Both the Hero and the Heroine are wonderfully developed characters that I connected with and cared about. Clair Kent did not waste words where they were not needed. She is all action, thus Escorted is a page turner. Finally, the sex scenes... they were great. I kept wondering to myself why I wasn't looking for a little more plot and a little less sex, but I concluded that most of the sex was the plot, and it was artfully done.
I am really on the fence about having wanted "more sophisticated" writing, because I am thinking it was just my own mood. I admire Kent's ability to tell a story and her underlying wit had me smiling a lot. I highly recommend Escorted, by Claire Kent.
QUOTES:
“Anyone can write good sex scenes. All you need is some basic knowledge of anatomy, the right vocabulary and some choice reading material. Experience has nothing to do with it.”
“I guess I keep waiting for someone to choose me, to want me, over all the other women he could have.”
“Me big strong man. Me take woman from behind.”
“Feeling like a caveman tonight? Or do you still insist you’re immune to such primitive impulses?”
“Here is a piece of advice. Never pay attention to what a man says when he comes. Anything might be blurted out at that moment, and it rarely means anything.”
“Just once I'd like to see you be wrong about something."
"Oh, I've been wrong about plenty of things," Ander murmured, pulling her toward him and draping both arms around her waist. "I just don't like to advertise the fact.”
