Being a Jett Girl - Meghan Quinn

How did I become a Jett Girl?

Hell if I know, one moment I’m working at the premiere spot for creepy men and sloppy drunks and the next, I’m being whisked away by a moody ex-boxer and a mysterious man in a suit that overlooks his girls from the third floor of the Lafayette Club.

It wasn’t easy but now that I’m a Jett Girl, there is only one thing on my mind and that is Jett Colby.

He has captured me, stolen my heart and entwined my soul into his at such an alarming rate that it seems almost difficult to breathe without him holding me, touching me, kissing me...

He won’t give me his heart though, he won’t let me own every last inch of him and not because he doesn’t want to, but because he doesn’t want to jeopardize my ambiguity.

Because of this, there is only one thing standing in my way when it comes to completely and utterly living my life with Jett Colby and it’s called Lot 17.

This is the second novel in the Jett Girl series and follows the trials tribulations of Goldie.

Goldie is now officially one of the girls, and I absolutely love the friendship she has with the rest of the girls. I wish someone had my back like that. In book one Goldie was offered the chance to become a Jett Girl, accepted it, and worked her but off to be one. This book is all about being one.

The Lafayette Club is where it is all happening. Rich and powerful business men come for some entertainment and the girls stay anonymous. They wear masks and skimpy outfits, serve drinks and do exotic dance routines. Goldie's 'ex' is Jett's arch nemesis, and I see a lot more trouble brewing in book 3. Yikes!

We get more Jett, more Kace (YES!!!!) and we get introduced to a new character Diego who fits right in. A lot more close encounters between Goldie and Jett not only in the Bourbon Room but in her room as well. Enough said.

The best part about this book for me was the Kace shower scene. Man, oh man, oh man. I want me some of that!! I really really hope Kace gets his own book.

* Strongly recommend reading book one first

How did I start the Lafayette Club?

Well, I’m in the business of saving tarnished souls. I hand pick girls from the street who have no options left in life and give them an opportunity they can’t possibly refuse.

They come to work in the Lafayette Club which is full of EXQUISITE DEBAUCHERY, where influential men come to conduct business and lap dances are considered a fine art.

The girls are trained, they are morphed, they are educated, they follow the rules of the club and they know to submit to me. They live by my motto, no relationships, no love, just sex.

They are never touched, only by me, they are never completely naked, only with me, and their personas are entirely anonymous. The only person who knows who they truly are, is me, Jett Colby.

If these girls were ever seen on the streets of New Orleans, you would never know they were a Jett Girl

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged.
